Dr. Ester Cole is a psychologist in private practice, with a focus on children, youth and families. She worked at the Toronto Board of Education for 20 years, 16 of those as a supervising psychologist of service teams. In addition to also teaching courses at OISE for 20 years, she has published widely and has lectured in several countries about models of school psychology in multicultural systems, special education, depression and suicide prevention in youth.

Dr. Cole has been involved with several boards and has held many leadership positions, including President of the Canadian Association of School Psychologists, Chair of The Psychology Foundation of Canada and President of the Ontario Psychological Association.
