Dr. Jennifer A. Connolly is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at York University and the Director of the LaMarsh Research Centre for Youth Development, Health and Violence. She teaches university courses on adolescent development and has conducted research on bullying and harassment, dating violence, media influences on teen violence, romantic relationships and adolescent sexuality.

One of Dr. Connolly’s central concerns is utilizing evidence-based knowledge to promote healthy development of adolescents, especially in their peer groups and in dating and romantic relationships. She speaks frequently to parents, teachers and other professionals about these issues.
